Job Description : PROJECT MANAGER IT NIGERIA The Program Manager is head of the project management vertical of Digitization. He is the functional owner of all the project managers who has the responsibility for planning, executing, and delivering strategic projects the department initiates with a soul objective of delivery business value by high adoption of the projects. This division manages a portfolio of interrelated projects, leads cross-functional teams, ensures resource alignment, and mitigates risks to deliver outcomes on time and within budget. Works within the frames work defined by the enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives. The role is responsible in defining the SOPs and Governance and Reporting framework for effective project deliveries. He may also drive critical projects by defining scope, objectives, milestones, and success criteria. He is responsible for portfolio of all projects managers reporting into him and ensure all projects are delivered within the plan and budget and ensure business objectives are delivered. Works very closely with Enterprise Architect, Technology heads, Process Owners and Core users of each of the projects to ensure proper process if followed and every project is managed well. Track all project performances and proactively manage changes in scope, timelines, or resources as the case may be. Ensure that program deliverables meet quality standards and compliance requirements. Serve as the main point of contact for all program-related communications. Facilitate regular program status updates, steering committee meetings, and executive briefings. Manage stakeholder expectations and foster a strong relationship with internal and external partners. Identify program risks and dependencies early; develop and implement mitigation plans. Resolve conflicts or escalations quickly to ensure program continuity. Provide guidance and mentorship to project managers and team leads. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Communicate architecture decisions and benefits to executive and non-technical audiences. Preferred candidate profile Should have experience of leading a team of Project Managers and have managed large projects (E.g. SAP, SRM and CRM) which have more than 60 to 100 team members spanning over 6 to 12 months. Have a good understanding of major applications like ERP - SAP, SRM, CRM projects. Typically, should have worked in Large Oil & Gas industries with good project experience in all domains like\Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, Treasury, Taxation, Payments, Quality, Manufacturing, HRMS\, Logistics, Spend Analysis, Reporting, Dashboarding and AI / ML (good understanding of the R2R, P2P, O2C, H2R, process) Qualification: Engineering / MBA / MCA or equivalent.
