Job Description : RETAIL GROUP CFO EUROPE Open to multi lingual expat candidates with 25+ years in finance GROUP CFO – DISCOUNT RETAIL GROUP An outstanding opportunity to join a market-leading discount retailer operating across fashion, grocery and impulse categories throughout the DACH region and wider Europe. Reporting directly to the Group CEO and Shareholders, the Group CFO will be a commercially driven finance leader responsible for shaping the next phase of profitable growth, operational excellence and enterprise-wide transformation. This is a hands-on leadership mandate requiring a proven executor who has successfully delivered large-scale ERP transformation programmes, ideally across SAP S/4HANA or Oracle, while driving finance modernisation, automation and business performance. Previous Group CFO or Divisional CFO experience within large-scale retail, discount retail, FMCG or consumer businesses. Expertise leading complex SAP or Oracle ERP implementations, finance transformation and process optimisation. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to partner closely with shareholders, the Group CEO and Board on strategic growth initiatives. Proven track record of delivering operational efficiencies, improving profitability and supporting rapid multi-country expansion. Experience managing large international finance organisations across the DACH region and Europe. High levels of resilience, execution capability and change leadership within fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
