10 yearsJob Description : COUNTRY MANAGER NIGERIA The candidate is responsible to oversee the company operations in Nigeria. He is responsible for building the future value of the company and ensure consistent growth in revenue and profitability. He is also responsible for effective maintenance of all existing & new business relationships required to achieve companys business development goals. Major Responsibilities · Oversee and lead the team for running successful business operations. · Expand sales and margin performance for existing & new customers. · Ensure timely compliance with all local regulatory bodies for smooth operations. · Follow up and Negotiate for orders with customers. Regular customer visits. · Ensure that the SOPs are followed in managing the stocks/warehouse/logistics. · Preparation of Annual Business plan and its achievement · Work closely with Head Office to define the local business goals and implement strategic plans and operational processes to achieve them. · Send daily work report to Head Office. Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience · MBA or Masters degree preferred. · An Executive with 10 to 15 years of experience, with 5 or more years in sales/business development in Nigeria ideally within the Pharmaceutical/Chemical Industry required. · Intimate knowledge of Nigeria and a strong pre-existing professional network in the region is a strong plus. · Experienced in preparation & execution of business plans · Flexible, Stable & detail-oriented with strong work ethic · Acts with a sense of purpose, commitment and accountability, in a manner consistent with company culture and values.
