Job Description : GM FMCG DUBAI well-established trading company in UAE who are looking for General Manager to head their FMCG trading division. About the company: Operating in UAE since 1980’s, the company has built an excellent reputation as one the best reliable trading partners in the region representing strong global FMCG brands. Job Purpose: The General Manager for the FMCG Division will have a key leadership role within the group which will involve in delivering top line and bottom-line targets. Responsibilities: · Provide leadership and vision by assisting the board and staff with the development of long range and annual plans, and with the evaluation and reporting of progress on strategies. · Formulate and execute company’s strategic plan. · Set and achieve key performance targets for: sales, delivery, cost, expenses, and other measurements of operational performance. · Identify, create, develop new market opportunities, sourcing of new products, market feasibility study and principal management. · Manage all sales related activities covering setting and strictly monitoring of sales targets and ensures accurate delivery of products in all sales channels. · Responsible for getting new distribution agencies for the company. · Manage sub-distributors based in other GCC and Middle east countries. · Ensure timely collection from the market. Develop plan to minimize expiry products from the market. · Minimizes sales returns/damaged goods and short expiry goods by monitoring returns, developing a depletion plan and avoiding overstocking the points of sales. · Communicate operational/sales results, activities, etc. to Executive Management and provide recommendations and plans for ongoing improvement. · To formulate performance measures, parameters, and targets, in line with the business objectives and agreed every year on performance review, with targets set for the subsequent year. Education & Experience: · MBA with at least 10 years of SBU Head responsibility in UAE. · Currently handling SBU Head type of responsibility for an FMCG company. · Should have good contacts in the FMCG industry at senior levels. · SAP knowledge will be a plus. Essential Skills: · Knowledgeable about sourcing, principal management, and feasibility study for new lines. · Excellent man-management skills and presentation skills. · Excellent planning, strategizing, and organizing abilities.
