Job Description : NSM NIGERIA FOR FMCG Position: National Sales Manager Location: Lagos, Nigeria a leading global Food/FMCG multinational FMCG company, are looking to attract an experienced National Sales Manager to execute the sales strategy of the brand national wide and ensures to deliver on them. Purpose of role You are responsible for the overall commercial strategy of the brand, sales activation, client/principal engagement as well as internal strategy numbers within the distribution house. Responsibilities Meet or exceed projected sales targets while collaborating with key partners like RMS, Logistics, credit control team and Demand Planners across the organization as wells as applying proven supply chain management practices (e.g. S&OP, FIFO, etc.) Maintain sales management and reporting tools to achieve business objectives. And coordinate with management to develop sales plan, budget and schedule. They ensure that consistent brand identity is upheld in all correspondence and campaigns, and liaise with other executives to identify new markets and customers. Must be able to provide exceptional customer service, as they are the face of the company’s sales team, and responsible for the clients’ overall satisfaction Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 15 years in traditional sales roles within a FMCG/FOOD sales environment where understanding of strategic sales process and the steps necessary to drive sales results is required Demonstrated experience in managing projects for sales process or program implementation from concept to completion. Must be organized, detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment; Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team where open, collaborative communication is expected; Exhibits personal traits of curiosity, modesty, achievement orientation, and conscientiousness; Team player that is creative, process oriented, and committed
