Supply Chain Manager 
10 yearsJob Description : SCM DUBAI · Develop, plan and lead the logistics and distribution strategy, delivering on cost, quality and service objectives across transportation, shipping network, supply channels, and distribution centers · Research and identify best practices and trends, prioritize and select appropriate projects, lead in identifying risks, developing complex mitigation strategies, defining best practices and alternative solutions, driving standardization and controls, and resolving issues in collaboration with cross-functional and/or corporate teams · Handle and supervise all trade executions in the company · Prepare purchase and sales contracts for the traded commodities. · Organize and manage shipments for trade, for both containers and vessel chartering, shipping operations/handling demurrage claims, inventory/stock management, and documentation (contracts, LCs, insurance policies) · Liaise with counterparts at supplier and buyer level to coordinate shipments · Negotiate and achieve the lowest rates for freight, inspection, and insurance to streamline trading books and maximize cost savings · Handle insurance claims · Ensure that all contracts are executed without deviation · Prepare import-export documentation for multiple accounts in various stages of completion, in a highly time-sensitive environment · Initiate timely invoicing and work closely with the accounting department to ensure billing accuracy · Audit export files for compliance and upload into the ERP system · Ensure that all purchased and delivered commodities are according to the agreed specs · Proper and adequate reporting for operations within the group Requirements: · Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management preferred · Extensive experience and knowledge in commodity trading, supply chain, logistics, distribution, customs clearance, and container and vessel operations · Strong ability to establish strategic partnerships with Logistics Service Providers in driving delivery excellence and fulfillments · Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills · Fluency in English required; French is a plus · Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
