Job Description : IT DIRECTOR MALAYSIA An IT Director (FMCG) job opportunity has just become available at one of the top global FMCG company’s Malaysia office. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee the information and data integrity of the regional business operations covering Malaysia and Singapore. About the IT Director (FMCG) Role: Your key responsibility is to drive the technology function across both application and infrastructure so that the business remains relevant in today’s competitive and ever-changing landscape. Key Responsibilities: · Providing overall management of all technology functions within the region which includes the responsibility of leadership role in strategic, transformation and operational aspects · Envisioning the enterprise IT strategy roadmap whilst making sure that it is aligned with the organisation’s global compliance and standards · Taking on responsibility as a business partner, ensuring that IT is strategically managed so that it can drive profit and reducing cost at necessary areas · Leading the system management across commercial (sales and marketing), business operations (supply chain and manufacturing) and corporate (HR and finance) systems · Overseeing the IT operations and its relevant projects which includes network, voice, data, imaging, and office automation The successful IT Director (FMCG) is a role model who is visionary and comes with a personality of a growth mindset. Key Requirements: · More than 20 years of IT experience in FMCG or related industries is desirable · Experience in applications such as SAP, CRM, SCM, Mobile and customer platforms and tools is advantageous · Experienced in network (Cisco, MPLS) design, implementation, and data centre operations · Experienced in operating systems and middleware such as MS Dynamic, Windows, Unix, and OS400, MQ, SOAP XML and EDI · Familiar with .NET, Java, ABAP programming and DB2, Oracle, Sybase and MS SQL RDBMS
