Job Description : CEO MALAYSIA A leading Engineering Firm capable of Design-Build-Operate-Transfer and/or sub-contracting is recruiting for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) job in Kuala Lumpur to exploit growth opportunity in this emerging market across the region. In this CEO role, you will be responsible for the full P&L leading business development as well as the engineering workforce that forms the backbone of the Engineering Firm. About the Chief Executive Officer Role: This is a great opportunity for the CEO to bring the entire team to be exposed from their conventional industries they typically served to a wider array of industries such as Infrastructure (Transportation, Port), Energy (Renewable Power), Environmental, Industrial (Digital Technology), etc. Key Responsibilities: · Lead and develop business development and engineering, also responsible for other function such as finance, procurement, and human resource · Effective management and P&L, cost and revenue management and controls consolidated budget · Strong networking among technical service provider to ensure emphasis on quality service and support throughout pre-tender up to award phase · Be in touch with various stakeholders such as consultants, technical service providers, government authorities, leaders from private sector across industries, investment bankers, and etc for leads generation · Supervise proposal/ bidding progress of major projects while being involved with risk review and perform final approval of commercial & technical evaluation · Lead people building strategy to integrate seasoned employees with new to have more crossover knowledge transfer while motivate employees to drive productivity and performance To succeed in this Chief Executive Officer role, you must have strong foundation in technical engineering and projects management before branching out to commercial and business development. Having led P&L in an engineering firm would also be advantageous. Key Requirements: · Minimum relevant bachelor’s degree and qualifications with prestigious institution · At least 15 years' of project engineering experience from either consultancy, civil and structure, mechanical and electrical and at least seven years in senior leadership handling business development and contract management · Sound experience in managing P&L with proficiency in project, engineering and business development · Conversant in relevant regulatory standards and requirements with key state/ federal authority · Strong analytical, crisis management and problem-solving skills · Strong leadership with good communication and interpersonal skills
