Job Description : SCM THAILAND Supply Chain Manager - Electronics (x 1 vacancy) job has just become available at one of the best electronics company based in Samutprakarn, Thailand. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this is a role for a Supply Chain Manager who is expert materials planning, inventory control, production planning, logistics in electronics manufacturing environment. About The Supply Chain Manager - Electronics Role: In this business-critical role, you will be responsible for overall supply chain activities with three managers report directly to you. You also facilitates interaction with sourcing, engineering, accounting, marketing and quality assurance in support of the business’s strategic goals. The salary range for this role is competitive with performance bonus, provident fund and medical insurance. Key Responsibilities · Primary point of responsibility for materials management for the site · Ensures optimisation of all materials management activities including scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, materials movement, supplier performance measurement, and indirect materials management · Responsible for the implementation, support and compliance of the materials and S&OP standard work playbook processes and systems to facilitate the fulfilment process from production planning to material procurement and warehousing, through product shipment · Develop and drive countermeasures for under-performing key processes and/or material suppliers · Provide leadership in selecting, developing and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of materials functions and company’s operating goals and objectives · Manage suppliers, materials and inventory in a manner consistent with the requirements of a Lean Six-Sigma manufacturing environment · Engages in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organising, integrating and delegating To succeed in the Supply Chain Manager - Electronics job, you will need to have exceptional data analysis, problem solving skills and cooperatively with other teams, across borders and internal matrix. Key Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering discipline (MBA is desirable) · A minimum of twelve years of experience in the integrated functions of materials management in a manufacturing environment that has embraced lean concepts, MRP manufacturing practices, and progressive supplier relationships · A minimum of three years in managerial experience focusing on standardising planning & execution, reducing sourcing complexity, and talent development · Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP and lean manufacturing processes · Expertise is Thai and English communication
