Job Description : REGIONAL MARKET MANAGER SINGAPORE An exciting Regional Market Manager job has just become available an international manufacturing company. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, this is a role for a strong sales leader in the oil and gas and hydrocarbon market. About the Regional Market Manager Role: In this business critical role, you will be responsible for the growth of the Asia Pacific oil and gas business. Your aim will be to lead sales and marketing strategies for the oil and gas sector through active involvement with distributors, OEMs and customers. Key Responsibilities: · Manage and coordinate distributor and customer activities to identify specific sales order opportunities · Become the region's leading commercial expert in oil and gas applications · Drive and coordinate sales growth in the Asia Pacific region · Become the region’s leading commercial expert in oil and gas applications and opportunities · Maintain current customer base and business development into new potential customers · Work closely with distributors to help customers develop specifications and obtain quotes · Coordinate with distributors to train and develop in-depth distributor knowledge of key customers, decision markets for areas relevant to scope of supply To succeed in the Regional Market Manager role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively with the distributor channels and selling experience with valves and fittings, etc. Key Requirements: · Minimum of eight years of work experience in oil and gas or related industrial markets · Proven track record in leading and growing business and maintaining customer relationships · Ability to work with distributor partners across the region · Knowledge of the oil and gas market including customers, suppliers, key personnel, and customer applications is essential · Ability to work in a matrix organisation and environment · Strategic thinker and commercially focused · Experience in selling products and solutions to the oil and gas market · Strong in distribution management This international company is one of the biggest manufacturers of components in the oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical market.
