Job Description : PLANT HEAD BANGLADESH Head of Plant / GM (132000 Spindle Spinning Mills 2Unit) Will be responsible for looking after manage all aspects of the business operation of the Business Unit, a Cotton Spinning Mills in Bangladesh having about 132000 Spindles in order to get the maximum efficiency & utilization of the machines by introducing various new check points & maintaining the existing one. Efficiently manage all aspects of the business operation of the Business Unit of The Viyellatex Group for achieving the business performance on multiple parameters of profitability, growth, image and vitality within the plans and policies of The Viyellatex Group and Board of Directors. Discharge the responsibilities of Executive Management Committee (EMC) representing Business Unit. Major Responsibilities : 1. Set challenging business goals, taking into account the expectations of all stakeholders, dealers, suppliers, government, employees and shareholders. 2. Formulate business directions and competitive strategies, through SWOT analysis, in consultation with MD & CEO and senior management colleagues 3. Draw the annual plan/budget, execute the approved plan and efficiently manage all aspects of the business operation of the Business Unit for achieving the business performance on multiple parameters of profitability and growth. 4. Ensure the quality and development of each member of the senior management staff of the Business Unit through challenge, feedback, coaching, training and modeling self-development. 5. Earn an adequate return on stockholder's equity and to generate sufficient surplus for growth and expansion. 6. As the unit head promote the Group's interests by proactive handling of external relations particularly with government, investors and chambers. 7. Build interpersonal cooperation and teamwork between Business Unit and other functions of the Viyellatex Group. 8. Ensure the provision of appropriate resource and staff support to the departments of Business Unit, commensurate with their multiple performances, goals of profits, productivity and growth. 9. Provide requisite delegation to department heads, with corresponding controls. 10. Ensure the audit, update and compliance with all corporate policies and systems in all the relevant areas of the business division. 11. Provide all-round leadership through enabling, firm decisions, clear guidelines, accessibility and visibility to all departments. 12. Provide an accident-free environment for employees by promoting, encouraging and implementing safe working practices throughout the Business Unit as per the Group Safety Policy and targets. Desired Candidate Profile Required key skills (functional/technical): · Experience on handling 100,000 spindle. · In-depth knowledge and experience of apparel sector. · In depth knowledge on production/operation · Knowledge on annual plan/budget · Basic knowledge on ERP & SAP. Required qualifications/experience: · Textile Graduate Textile Engineer · 20+ years experience in relevant field. · · Experience: 20 to 25 years
