Job Description : Mechanical and Solids Handling Head — EPC QATAR Job Purpose: Responsible for overseeing the design and installation for all mechanical and solid sulfur handling scope for the Sulfur Facility Project Provide oversight to the FEED and EPC Contractors in delivery of all aspects of mechanical and solid sulfur handling to ensure technical objectives are met within the approved scope, budget and schedule. Provide clear guidance to the FEED and EPC contractor, Jnd facilitate resolution of technical issues to complete mechanical and solid sulfur handling engineering activities and meet project objectives and milestones. Provide engineering surveillance of FEED and EPC mechanical and solid handling deliverables. Minimum qualifications required: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline preferred. Minimum of 10 years' experience in EPC projects, in design, procurement/manufacturing and construction of material handling, conveyance systems such as sulfur, polymers, coal Working knowledge of gearboxes, bearings, variable speecimotors, safe, systems and controls related to conveyance facilities. _ Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, field engineering associated with solids handling. Experience in the design of solids storage and reclaiming. - Familiarity with installation methods, testing and troubleshooting of material handling systems. Experience in solid sulfur forming an advantage. Experience in solid sulfur operations an advantage. Experience in the design of other related chemical processing and utility equipment a plus.
