Job Description : SALES MANAGER NORTH ASIA OUT OF SINGAPORE Highly specialist manufacturer of high value commercial vehicles and associated equipment and technology. Significant levels of reinvestment into R&D for both hardware and software. Job Description · Prospect and map new sales opportunities and channel development across assigned region and work closely with cross-functional teams globally · Responsible for successful and effective tendering activities and meeting milestones or deadlines of each project · Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth in support of new products and key growth platforms · Interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns to mitigate the requirements and remove barriers in delivering exceptional customer service and to achieve business unit objectives · Work closely with agents, distributors, channel partners, and direct clients and arranging business development meetings with prospective clients and accounts · Provide strong commercial support and assist in the promotion of business at all marketing events and activities · Manage product demonstrations, organise workshops and seminars by working closely with the Aftersales, Product, and Marketing managers regionally and globally · Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support that are commercially related and reporting on successes and areas needing improvements and transformation The Successful Applicant · Minimum Bachelor qualification ideally in engineering subject · At least 10 years relevant working experience in regional sales, territory management and distribution management · Experience in dealing with government bodies and managing multiple large and complex projects · Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to build strong relationships with decision makers · Project and contract management expertise with experience in RFP / RFQ development · Strong consulting, interpersonal team player, and decision-making skills · Professional work integrity and positive attitude · Sharp analytical skills towards problem-solving & tight deadlines · Team player, excellent client service & results oriented · Excellent organisational and time management skills · Flexible and keen to share new ideas to improve existing work processes · Ability to work under pressure, a reliable team player and problem solver · Comfortable to work in a global matrix environment and multicultural team
