Regional Operations Technology Head

Job Description : REGIONAL OPERATIONAL TECHNOLOGY HEAD THAILAND/MALAYSIA global leader for steel manufacturing. This role can be based in Malaysia or Thailand. You will be responsible for the below areas: · Provide architectural advice and oversight and input into selected Operational Application implementation projects. · Identify and drive incremental value from existing applications/toolsets and removing complexity from IT portfolio. · Address day-to-day business requirements and determining the best solution to meet the immediate need, aligned to internal application standards · Developing standards and specifications which address OT system design needs · Developing and communicating a holistic vision for operational technology across multiple stakeholders · Balancing legacy systems with opportunities for industry innovation. · Leading infrastructure team to design & deliver factory IT infrastructure including manufacturing & control network, & data center to support connected factory & manufacturing applications · Owning manufacturing system operation, ensuring manufacturing system service level to support production. · Maintaining knowledge and understanding of compliance requirements for plant operations. Implement controls to monitor, measure compliance, and increase the maturity of controls for OT systems. · Working with country manufacturing leadership teams for OT budget development and monitoring for expense and capital cost control. Accountable for performance to predetermined budget targets. · Working with IT team to ensure security and recoverability of OT network systems in the event of disaster or discontinuation of technical services. Reach out to us if you have · Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Software or equivalent engineering discipline · 10+ years' experience in IT/OT architecture and solution delivery, with a strong background in the practical use, design, and deployment of industrial applications. · 10+ years' experience and proven ability to manage a complex, diverse and distributed IT/OT environment. At least four must be in a leadership role. · Heavy Industry experience a must. · Sound technical experience and knowledge working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software and hardware, as well as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) · Prior experience with design and configuration of computer system solutions in support of Manufacturing, SCADA, or MES, integration to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Quality Systems. · Experience in providing guidance for system integration and application design, as well as architecture development and support for PLC/ SCADA/ MES platforms including Rockwell, Siemens, and Yokogawa
