We are seeking a highly motivated leader to lead and build the team within our Vietnam Sales Office. The General Sales Manager is responsible for of all company commercial (include sales, & business development) activities within the Vietnam territory. The company´s strategy is to strengthen our market, business and sales position in Vietnam by expanding its product portfolio with products to capture a new consumer audience and also leading the local Marketing to strengthen our brand and marketing. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing and executing business plans to improve the sales and profits within Vietnam by acquiring new customers via various sustainable sales channels. In addition to a new approach to the Vietnam market (including a strong focus on Brand & Product Marketing, E-Commerce & Digital Marketing) the incumbent will be tasked to build a strong teamwork across ASEAN towards the market. This new strategy in an exciting journey and it creates new opportunities for growth in the coming years. General Sales Manager- Vietnam Responsibilities : · Define Go to Market (GTM) strategy for all channels where GPB Vietnam plays (General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT), Ecommerce (EC), specialty channels). · Reinvent GTM model for all channels to deliver both top-line & bottom-line strategic goals. · Hold full P&L responsibility for the GPB Vietnam business and deliver against agreed top and bottom line targets. Including Monthly sales forecasting, Annual Budget process, Monthly business reviews, Cost management & control and Staff planning · Analysing the market, competition, technology and developments, in order to find new business opportunities with new product-market combinations within the business strategy. · Responsible for business development and business planning for Vietnam market · Has the authority and accountability to negotiate dealer contracts (including pricing, terms & conditions) within the limits of the P&L targets and commercial policy. · Manage the main country related projects and participate in key ASEAN projects. · Guide and drive the development of new products from the initial phase until the final product, in order to get the optimal combination of performance and price in time for the defined market segment. · To follow the business during the lifecycle of the product and to take corrective actions when needed, in order to generate the maximum profit contribution during the whole life cycle. · Translates mid/long term developments in the market into future product plans and identifies the necessary key components for realizing future product ranges. · Collects and analysis market information w.r.t. to mid/long term market developments. · Ensures that product plans are integrated with planning of other disciplines like Marketing, R&D and manufacturing, etc. Requirements : · Bachelor or Masters degree in Marketing or Business Management or related fields · At least 15 years of Business development experience in FMCG or Electronics or Consumer goods industry with at least regional responsibilities. · Minimum 6 years of managerial experience is required. · Strong in setting and executing the strategy/plan, being strategic and yet hands-on · Strong brand builder and good commercial sense, creative and yet adopt fact-based approach for decision-making or problem solving. · Excellent understanding of the consumers needs, technology and competition benchmark. · Good managerial, interpersonal , communication, negotiation, people engagement skills and is a team player. Stakeholder management skills is crucial. · Fluent in speaking and writing of English and Vietnamese language. Knowledge of Chinese, Cantonese or another language will be an added advantage. · Regular Traveling to Hanoi is required. · PC skills required; Microsoft office. · Open to candidates of all nationalities
