Job Description : COO MUMBAI FWTZ FOR DP WORLD The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the organization. Your primary goal will be to increase our organization's productivity, efficiency, and profitability You will advise the CEO on key operational insights focusing upon: · Overall facility management · Entire responsibility for the performance of business unit · Ownership of the PnL of the business unit · Maintain strong IR and local relationships & Stakeholder management · Budgets to achieve targets on revenue. P&L responsibility . · Must have In depth knowledge sharing of the EXIM industry landscape and clearly understand our competitors across major focus regions. · Strong understanding of commercials, negotiations, and costing. · Adhere to DP World laid down policies governing Credit control and credit offerings to customers. Make all efforts possible in line with the organizations policies for ensuring no bad debts account /unpaid dues. · Own & manage key relations in the trade conferences, media, and Government. · Ensure DP World norms are being followed in every aspect and department of the business unit. · Provide accurate, timely qualitative feedback on regular set report mechanisms existing in the organization – Monthly Business Reports (commercial feedback) and projections to CEO FTZ Subcontinent. · Assistance in arranging trade gathering/function. · Be aligned and adherent to the Company Media and Brand - Communications policy. QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: · Any Master’s degree with or without engineering background with an in depth understanding of suppl chain , Logistics , Shipping , EXIM and warehousing operations along with Management Degree / Diploma in Business Management from a reputed Institution is desired. · Minimum of 18-20 years of experience in leadership role in FTWZ /SEZ / Logistics/ company or in Supply Chain Management dept. of Major MNC’s. · Exceptional communication skills backed by strong listening skills to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. · Knowledge of client, Customs and regulatory requirements. · Excellent leadership capability with the ability to ensure commercial targets and budgets are achieved by the sales team. Good interpersonal skills, excellent team building capabilities, planning, co-ordination and decision-making skills.
