Finance Manager

Job Description : FINANCE MANAGER QATAR Minimum of 10 to 12 years' experience in finance. Gulf experience is preferred. A recognized professional accounting qualification — professional / strategic level qualification of CA with a thorough practical understanding of financial accounting principles and techniques. Accounting experience in construction and manufacturing environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITES • Develop a strategic vision and strategy that clearly defines objectives around Accounting, Financial, cash and liquidity management. • Refine working capital management; improve banking relationships; control improvement; reduce risk of errors, omissions or fraud; and potential workflow efficiencies. • Finalize monthly financial statements in accordance with IFRS requirements. • In-charge of General Ledger Management and reconciliation of with Sub Ledgers • In-charge of forecasting, planning and projections in connection with Cash and Bank transactions • Facilitate Inventory management and controls • Manage the budgeting process • Provide Reports to Management and works on KPIs with analysis of business performance • Take up responsibility for Letters of Credit, guarantees and bonds execution • Control receivables and customers management, not restricted to Credit Control Implement the necessary controls in order to safeguard company assets through cost control and cost reduction • Closely monitor the projects team and procurement team for control of the project costs based upon POC method and raising flags as and when required to GM. • Participate in / manage a variety of projects of Cash Management which helps in developing new banking to maximize the associated control accounts, assist in determining the structure of a new banking relationship or optimize existing. • Manage transactions with company bankers and insurers. Forecast both long term and short-term liquidity and monitor the same with the actual and ensure that remedial actions taken.
