Job Description : MARKETING HEAD DUBAI FOR SNACKS AND BEVERAGES Reporting to: Marketing Director, MISA (Middle East, Indian Subcontinent & Africa) Mobility: Requires regular travel across region The Head of Marketing, Snack & Beverage will be responsible for leading the Snack & Beverage End Use Markets’ (EUM) strategy and planning processes supporting Kerry's growth objectives. This role is focused on the Snack & Beverage category development for the Middle East, North Africa & Turkey (MENAT) region, and you will partner with the relevant commercial and technical teams in the development and execution of the regional strategy across the assigned market. This is a high-profile, critical role within the business, with the Snack & Beverage EUMs expected to be the regions key enablers of disruptive growth. Key responsibilities · Manage, facilitate and influence the planning and coordination of market and account strategies with the business management team for the region, with a strong focus on the highlighted growth accounts · Identify and develop new products and applications to grow the business, with regards to portfolio analysis (gaps) and the market environment and opportunities to maximize contribution and market share of our products · Lead and prioritize the country strategic marketing plan to meet the financial objectives of the business and to maximize the ROI of the function · Drive market based promotional plans on an annualized basis to deliver top line revenue growth · Initiating and leading sustainable planning forums to execute, monitor progress and evaluate strategy success · Engage current and target customers on key strategic initiatives · Lead the delivery of strategic and tactical marketing plans to Sales team and external customers · Partner with the research, development and application teams to develop and execute sustainable training and development programs to effectively transform Kerry capabilities into customized value propositions for customers · Manages the process to facilitate information/knowledge sharing and transfer, including monthly/quarterly reporting and planning forums with the management team and key stakeholders · Develop strong working relationship with central marketing insights and communications team to develop customer presentation materials with consistent Kerry portfolio messaging and brand design relevant to each of the markets and customers · Partner with global Kerry peers in the marketing function to coordinate strategies on key global and regional account Qualifications And Skills · Bachelor’s Degree or higher with minimum 15 years’ experience overall across FMCG / Food & Beverage industry · Excellent communication skills in both English & Arabic is a MUST · Highly numerate with strong commercial and technical acumen, and in possession of excellent leadership and communication skills – must be credible at senior level and be able to facilitate and collaborate across a diverse stakeholder base · Demonstrable success at anticipating customer needs (internal and external) and directing change in execution accordingly · Likes autonomy, is pro-active and results driven; is also highly effective in bringing together market intelligence to lead development of business strategies · A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, continuously evolving business environment and has creative approach to problem solving with good people management skills · Comfortable in a performance driven business model that encourages calculated risk taking and rewards performance · Financial acumen to deliver the ROI on the annual marketing plan and country budget · Formulates concise programmes from ideas to complete solutions; creates, executes and drives new programs, initiatives, and formal plans · Ability to compile and analyze the local MRCI available; has a general management perspective and an understanding on how to develop and deploy information · Envisions the big picture and can breakdown projects into implemental phases, given business priorities and considerations · Has experience in working in a matrix environment and understand the implications regarding managing different stakeholders · Has the know-how to deal with ambiguity, and shows a high level of empathy
