Commercial Manager

Job Description : COMMERCIAL SPECIALIST QATAR JOB PURPOSE As the Commercial Specialist, you will provide support to the Senior Commercial Manager with commercial efforts to further support the Operational Management Team. • Ensure submission of monthly statements/applications for payments to clients within 10 days of each period end. • Ensure revenue recovery against any costs considered out with original scope of works (change order/variations/property damage) is maximized. • Prepare proposals and quotations for the additional scope of works. • Roll of out budgets/forecasts to operational teams and support a drive of improved purchasing cost management to allow betterment of budgeted/forecasted margins. • Procurement of subcontractors through tenders. • Drafting LOA and subcontract agreements. • Preparing the final account statements for the main contract and the subcontractors. • Write commercial/contractual response letters to the client/subcontractors letters. • Ensure interim payment certificates are submitted to the Finance Department within 28 days of receipt of subcontractors invoice. • Support the Sr Commercial Manager in ensuring monthly and annual reviews are carried out with critical service contractors. • Support the Sr Commercial Manager in ensuring commercial meetings with clients are carried out regularly to avoid disputed items. QUALIFICATION • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Commercial Management. EXPERIENCE & SKILLS • Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial related works in a Facilities Management industry, preferably with GCC experience. • Commercial management, IT skills, good numeric skills and ability to communicate at all levels. • Proficient in English language; proficient in MS Office. • Ability to work long hours when required; have an analytic mindset and solutions focus.
