Senior Material Engineer

Job Description : Sr. Material Engineer - Abu Dhabi JD - QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS • B.Sc. or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy • Minimum (8) years in engineering field preferably including (5) years in Oil & Gas Contracting • Good experience of using ECE and Predict (preferred) software, and developing Materials selection report, Material Selection Diagrams, corrosion control and monitoring reports • Should have worked as lead or sub lead for at least three projects • Understanding of protective coating systems, including selection and review of application procedures • Experience on developing Cathodic Protection (CP) scope of work, evaluate CP vendors offer, review their documentation, and address site issues. Should also be able to work out MTO in support of proposal activities • Capable of formulating schedules • Preferably holding NACE Certified Coating Inspector Level 1 and NACE Certified Cathodic Protection Technologist (CP2) • Should follow HSE & Quality policies • Good presentation and communication skills
