To find out more about us visit us here - www.hmdglobal.com and www.hmdconnect.com Our Customer Logistics team is looking for a Supply Chain Leader for MENA to drive new innovations in planning, customer collaboration, distribution and order-to-cash. As the leader of our Customer Logistics team in MENA, you are expected to have the ability to creatively design and lead solid channel operations processes as well as work collaboratively with global peers and cross functional colleagues in MENA. You should have proven experience in supply chain leadership areas such as customer relationship management, inventory management (VMI), allocation management, contract manufacturing management and logistics network optimization. Key Responsibilities: · Drive optimal in-stock and inventory weeks of supply to maximize revenue opportunities, ensure on-shelf presence and mitigate returns exposure. · Ensure that Channel Health metrics are understood and actioned accordingly, including root cause investigation and leading the cross-team efforts necessary to drive improvement. · Lead the demand sensing and CPFR activities with the key customers in MENA covering the different stages of the product life – launch, replenishment and end of life. · Explore methods of optimizing Cost to Serve, ranging from order management practices to customer logistics and across any Supply Chain customer touch point that will drive account-level profitability. · Ensure proactive, data-oriented communication to key partners and customers in MENA · Lead the Channel management and Order management teams in MENA. · Lead overall Supply Chain strategy for MENA. · Lead the supply chain related activities to ensure full NPL (New Product Launches) readiness. Qualification & Experience: · Qualified to a degree level (preferably in business, engineering or Supply Chain) · Minimum of 10+ years of formal Supply Chain/Customer Logistics experience preferably in a global multinational business · Ideally have a background in Consumer Electronics/Consumer Goods, and exposure to start up environments would be an advantage · Have led geographically diverse teams · Comfortable working in a fast paced start up environment embracing changes everyday · Ability to communicate clearly and concisely · Experience in VMI and demand replenishment planning models · Ability to think strategically with orientation to details at the same time · High analytical skills with a mindset of taking decisive decisions on a timely manner · Operates with discipline and with a high sense of urgency · Ability to identify opportunities of improvement and find solutions to address them · Encourages new ideas, innovation, and risk-taking · Results Oriented · Builds diverse collaborative relationships both internally and externally · Availability to travel (20% of the time)
