Head of Planning & Material Management Manager

Job Description : Head of Planning & Material Management Manager Reporting directly to the Head of Penang, this is a role for a Head of Planning & Material Management Manager who is able to lead the planning team to drive for continuous improvement. About the Head of Planning & Material Management Manager Role: Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Head of Planning & Material Management Manager will play a key role in driving the planning and material management team to achieve continuous improvement in key materials metrics and provides exceptional support to customers, team members, and shareholders. Key Responsibilities: · Lead and coordinate site SCM team in Penang · Lead and coordinate Production and Material planning and storage · Monitor and ensure on-time delivery · Support feasibility tests and sampling via production planning · Lead inquiry processes and process costing calculations · Generate internal and final product drawings for customer and production · Ensure fast and correct responses to sales · Monitor all the SCM activities and identify areas of improvement · Analyse cost, machine utilisation, planning deviation for actual vs. plan · Coordinate and align with the plant (AO) storage and delivery · Support complaint management from QA The successful candidate must possess more than 15years of experience in planning and material management in the manufacturing industry. Key Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent · Must have experience in SAP, PP or MM modules · Extensive knowledge of manufacturing/industrial engineering philosophies and processes · Strong and convincing communication skills
