Senior Finance Manager

Job Description : SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER THAILAND at one of the most respected global pharmaceutical companies based in Bangkok. Reporting directly the SEA Finance Director, this is the role for a strategic finance business partner who will be working closely with the senior commercial heads of the group. About the Senior Finance Manager Role: In this business partnering role, you will be leading the financial planning and analysis for Thailand and several SEA countries. You will be providing the financial counsel and analysis including the growth strategy initiatives. The package for this role includes base salary + car allowance + performance bonus. Key Responsibilities: · Provide financial advice and analysis for proposed strategic growth initiatives · Develop appropriate financial strategies in accordance with the business’s strategic objectives · Drive development and preparation of solid financial business plans to ensure the business delivers its financial commitments · Prepare periodic financial plans, updates, in accordance with the business requirements · Monitor local operations performance against financial plans and ensure management is advised on exposure issues · Ensure integrity of financial books and records, establish and maintain a robust and compliant internal control environment for the business · Summarise and communicate financial situations in a clear and concise manner explaining thought processes and analysis to local management team · Support local General Manager in key decisions and ensure responsible investment decisions · Advise local General Manager in areas of profit maximisation. Anticipate market activities that can impact business · Ensure corporate compliance policies and local policies are followed To succeed in this role, you will have be be not only strategic but also hands-on and be able to work with senior business management and commercial team. Key Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business Administrative, or any related fields · Minimum 10-year experience in MNC, preferably from pharmaceutical or FMCG industry · Experienced in financial planning, compliance, and commercial finance · Excellent oral and written communication skills in English to work extensively with area team in Singapore and Planning team in Europe · Advanced spreadsheet skills to manage scattered information into structured file for analysis · Strong strategic mindset and have analytical, problem solving and project management skills · Hard-working and able to work with the stakeholders in different time zones · Able to work collaboratively with other functions to deliver project time-line
