Job Description : REGIONAL TRADE MARKETING MANAGER SINGAPORE FOR FONTERRA Strong trade marketing experience within the FMCG industry • Regional sales experience in the SEA region a strong advantage • Solid knowledge of RTM & RGM in modern trade and general trade channels Reporting to the Regional Director, Chilled, you will partner with the SEA Opco teams to unlock value in chilled category via optimizing RTM & RGM related factors, providing coaching and support in optimizing channel opportunities. You will work with the OpCo and Consumer Export (ANZ) team to determine and build the right portfolio of Chilled products to win in SEA. You will also guide and support the OpCo Chilled Sales Manager and their National Distributor in building the Channel Strategy and then jointly driving the execution of the activities and plans in market. Key Accountabilities: • Work jointly with the OpCos and the Consumer Exports team to determine what product range (categories, formats, PPA) is required to win in each OpCo; build an NPD launch calendar • Develop strategies & plans for Chilled including Perfect Store program for SEA. • Build the selling stories and selling presentations for Distributor teams to sell Fonterra chilled ranges to customers, including NPDs. • Guide and support the OpCo Chilled Sales Manager and their National Distributor in building the annual & quarterly BTL activity (promotions) calendar. • Share learnings across SEA for Lift & Shift, including getting learnings from developed markets like ANZ. • Understand category, channel & customer trends and the company’s performance. • Deliver right product mix to maximize margin for total consumer business. • Active Partnership with opco in determining Route to Market (RTM) and Distribution Assessment. • Active Partnership with opco in recommending and adjusting RTM model to meet specific region and customer needs. • Lead and develop activities to increase both numeric distribution and weighted distribution • Develop programs to develop new channel that is linked to the sales and distribution strategy. • Develop right MCL (Must Carrying List) and deploy effectively in different channels and accounts. • Participate in activities to enhance visibility and fair share and location of main space and secondary display in stores. • Participate in marketing and trade activities which are included activation, new product launch, consumer promotion, trade promotion, display program in stores to drive maximum benefits & objectives of such activities. • Provide inputs for accurate, complete and timely bottom up forecast via historical data, business trends and category insights and activities. • Provide quantitative and qualitative feedback on activities. • Improve and enhance the capabilities and sales performance of the team, Skills & Experience: • University degree or higher in business management or relevant majors. • Minimum 15 years of trade marketing experience at the same level in multinational companies within the FMCG industry. • Regional sales experience in the SEA region would be highly valued. • Solid knowledge in trade marketing (RTM/RGM) in modern trade and general trade channels. • Strong sales background with experience in business development preferred. • Proven Supervisory/ leadership skills • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
