Business Development Manager

Job Description : BDM UGANDA 10-15 years experience Job Description: · Generating leads in the allocated territory / market / industry segment. To increase brand awareness and to promote product & service portfolio with customers in the allocated region. · Handling of Enquiries, preparing enquiry synopsis, communicating with offer support team, preparing offers. Carry out techno-commercial discussions with the customers up to finalisation of contractual terms and contracts. · Management and Coordination with the various principals across the world for the mentioned products & services in coordinating proposals, and Source reliable and local Suppliers / Service Providers. · Communicate with targeted clients, build and develop customer relationships and help with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and presentations. · Attending Price Bid, Commercial Meeting with Client/Consultants and negotiating prices, payment terms and closing the order. · Identify and participate in industry and customer marketing/specification events to maximize exposure, new business opportunities and drive pipeline and endorser network growth. · Provide feedback on customer needs and competitive market. Setting strategy to build Sales Pipeline & translate it into new clients, for the organisation. · Maintaining Monthly sales Forecast, Preparing quotations for clients, Good Product knowledge and an idea of competitors products and pricing. · Ensure application of sales and commercial policies, procedures, codes of conduct and best practice guidelines. · Excellent PR skills and liaising with various government departments. · Experience of looking after projects and general day to day operations would be an advantage. Job Location: Uganda, East Africa Industry: Electrical Transmission & Distribution. Experience: Min. 10 to 15 years. Educational Qualifications B Tech in Electrical Engg. + Master in Business Administration Salary - USD 4000 to 5000 including other benefits
