Chief Financial Officer

Job Description : CFO WEST AFRICA FOR REAL ESTATE leading real estate developer in West Africa. They are looking for CFO, he will be accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, raising finance for upcoming and ongoing development, and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. Roles and Responsibilities:- Generate and present financial reports to the CEO/ Board on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Provide annual budgeting and cash flow projections for each major asset class. Keep up with current market trends in the Finance and Real Estate industry. Develop performance measures that support the company’s strategic direction. Establish financial operational strategies to warrant all deadlines are met and full advantage is taken with tax effectiveness. Provide hands-on support wherever/ whenever necessary. Drive the company’s financial planning. Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments. Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks. Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure. Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations. Supervise all finance and accounts personnel. Manage vendor relationships. Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports. Oversee the company’s finance IT system. Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives. Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans. Develop financial and tax strategies. Manage the capital request and budgeting processes. Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction. BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA, and/or CPA highly desirable. 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in real estate development, property management, and/ or construction industry. Experience in Property Financing. Engagement with International Financial Institutions.
