Chief Executive Officer

Job Description : CEO SOUTH AFRICA A market leading healthcare business based in Johannesburg, is looking for an experienced business leader to establish the strategic direction of the company in a CEO role. This role would be well suited to an individual with a strong business development background in the health or pharmaceutical space as well as a demonstrated ability to serve as a successful participant of the executive management team. CEO Key Responsibilities: · Establish the strategic direction of the company in conjunction with the board of directors · Responsible for the overall performance and day to day running of the company · Implement policies, procedures, and operational structures · Work closely alongside the financial team (Financial director & CFO) to ensure effective financial forecasting, debt collecting and compliance. · Drive performance of employees by collaborating with the HR manager. · Monitor Governance and ensure regulatory accreditations. CEO Key Requirements: · BSC or equivalent (an MBA will be advantageous) · 10 – 15 years’ experience in a senior-level position within the pharmaceutical, healthcare or medical devices industry · Excellent knowledge of Human Resource Legislation, Company Law and Company Governance/King IV · Sales and Marketing experience is essential (within Pharma, Healthcare or Medical devices)
