Job Description : WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR/SALES CO-ORDINATOR DUBAI Job Code: AD1/AM1/193 Industry: Automotive Job Responsibilities: Prepare and then follow up on sales quotations made for clients with accuracy and timeliness Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems Knowledge of GCC “Import/Export” documentation and regulation Payment follow up with customers in coordination with Credit team Ensure that warehouse is kept neat and clean Stock count at any given time is accurate Items are organized in the FIFO manner All exits are free of any material and other obstacles Ensure only authorised persons operate fork lift Items are issued only through Material Requisition or MOTC Each issue of stock item is fully recorded in a traceable manner Material are handled properly to minimize any damage to man or other resources Stock ordering is done in complete consultation with the sales and a record of the same is maintained Minimise airlifting of items Control on local ordering Proper housekeeping is done every day and deep cleaning and housekeeping is done on a regular basis every month All suppliers handled by the stores team are properly registered Annual supplier evaluation is carried out Proper management reporting on slow moving items and those items that have very low life cycle Ensure that receiving inspections and testing are carried out by the competent persons and record is maintained in the warehouse against all such tests Keep sales force informed about the inventory level as and when required Maintain posters and other communication related to warehouse hazards Establish all controls against hazards to minimize the risks Intimate the HSE in case of any incident or near-miss Establish and maintain important segregation for returned items and damaged items as well as expired items Stacking of warehouse items as per the JAFZA requirements Maintenance of first aid kit Binning and Update of bin stocks in a timely manner Job Requirements: 10 years’ experience in sales, at least 5 years as a supervisory staff in inventory management vertical Clear understanding of all areas of warehouse At least 5 years of local experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Fluency in English Able to work independently with some direction Housekeeping and material organization 5S SAP Stock Arrangement KPIs Dead Stock – due to expiration dates (.5% of the total stock held in the warehouse) Stock variation during stock count (Not more than 5 instances during any count) Accidents – 0 major and not more than 3 near miss/ first aid in every 6 months Material Arrangement – No JAFZA or material safety requirements violation Warehouse management – Clear areas for different call of material including “Rejected”, “Under tests”, and “Expired” etc.
