They have direct presence in over 65+ countries with an overall network of 120 + countries. They are leaders in logistics services and cater to Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics as well as Inland Distribution. In India, their business is almost 2 decades old and they are considered to be among the top 5 Freight Forwarding Organisations. Job Description The candidate will be responsible for: · Driving & developing Ocean product strategy in accordance with the business plan and initiate carrier focused strategy · Generating ocean freight volumes for the entire region and will be required to support ocean freight commercial drives across the region to develop new & existing business · Developing and implementing the procurement plan, focusing on the carrier strategy & operational process/KPIs to achieve operation excellence · Providing leadership, direction and serving as a role model within the Regional management team for Ocean Freight business The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will have: · 15+ years of experience in the Freight forwarding Industry with the last 6-7 years being in a Regional/Pan India Ocean Freight Management Role · Strong Commercial experience of Delivering 50,000+ TEUs per annum from the Ocean Product · Experience of Leading a team for the last 5 years · Experience of delivering high growth and turning around business and P&L · Ability and understanding of working in Global teams and managing senior stake holders · Strategic acumen and insight to plan ahead of the industry to be able to steer the product profitably What's on Offer The candidate has an opportunity hold end to end P&L responsibility for the Ocean Freight Product for the ISC region. They have an opportunity to be a part of the Regional Management board for the client and to lead an experienced and competent team.
