Job Description : COUNTRY SALES HEAD INDIA Roles and Responsibilities Position Focus: · Deliver profitable revenue growth, meet budget targets and exceed customer expectations. Job Description: · Develops new markets/customers in respect of any new program. Pursue new business development opportunities. Analyzes customer and market needs and acts as a champion for future product direction while ensuring that Company objectives are achieved. · Creates customer long range plan (LRP). Explores and chases new business opportunities, RFQ management, responses to RFQ and commercial negotiations for new business opportunities · Develops and maintain costing database, confer with Purchasing on purchased parts, estimate production rates, plant tooling, production costs and equipment lead times. · Sales negotiations, contract negotiations and Engineering change negotiations and settlement including tooling and Engineering costs. · Program profitability in line with targets for assigned programs and co-ordinate with other functions to drive program profitability. Explore opportunities to improve margins and increase Lear content. · Interface with internal/external customers including Engineering, Finance, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, and Purchasing. · Budgeting, Sales monitoring and forecasting for designated customer/s · Monitor changing market scenarios and changes internally within the customer organization and keep Management team updated for taking pro-active action to protect company market share. · Follow departmental procedures and documentation to company with all Compliance, regulatory, legal and companywide requirements. · Proactively contribute to companywide continuous improvement program. · Account payable management and ensuring minimum outstanding. · Managing relationship with Customers on on-going basis for existing products. · Provides coordination and technical interface between engineering and production plant environment. Analyzes customer and market needs and acts as a champion for future product direction while ensuring that Company objectives are achieved. Qualification/ Candidate Profile: · MBA from a premier management school in India or abroad · BE / B.Tech - Mechanical / Production/ Automobile from Tier 1 / Tier 2 Engineering college · 18+ years of relevant experience. Automotive Industry experience in Tier 1 global organizations will be preferred · Track record of acquiring new customers / businesses · Track record of leading complex teams and businesses in India · Should have ability to establish strong connects with Key Opinion Leaders · Strong commercial acumen and good product costing knowledge is necessary · Experience in dealing with Finance and understanding of financial metrics · Experience in launching programs
