Job Description : OPERATIONS MANAGER TRADE FINANCE DUBAI FOR DP WORLD The purpose of the job is to manage all operational aspects of CARGOES Finance from day to day transactions to streamlining process flows on the system. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES · Manage day to day operations to ensure the service is delivered as per the guidelines set. · Manage end-to-end “client onboarding” from regulatory and platform perspectives and handhold · Communicate with customers, internal stakeholders (sales, compliance, credit, product, etc.) to resolve exceptional cases · Manage all transactions on the platform and monitoring transactions · Build long term relationships with key contacts at target customers and be readily available for transactional operational support. · Streamline process flows · Liaise with Financial Institutions where applicable to resolve client issues in a timely & efficient manner · Generate system reports and analyse trends · Notify customers of any internal and external process changes · Collect feedback from customers & communicate it to other part of the organization · Execute all customer centric process steps in the most efficient way during a transaction · Ensure all operational controls are executed as per Policy and Procedure · Ensure Policy and Procedures are updated · Highlight risks/incidents impacting business with relevant stakeholders and ensure there is a mitigation plan that is put into place · Testing of new system/changes to existing system and share observations regularly QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE · Have more than10 years’ experience in Trade Finance/Corporate & Commercial Banking operations. (Experience with Non-Bank Financial Institutions / Trade Finance Funds is a plus) · Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounts or Finance and Banking · Excellent knowledge in Trade Finance products · Patience and the ability to tactfully handle customer queries · Problem solving attitude · Ability to work independently without supervision
