Logistics Director

Job Description : DIRESCTOR SEA LOGISTICS UAE AND OMAN n this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running and development of sea freight import and export activities within UAE and Oman in order to increase market share and maximize profitability. Your Responsibilities · Manage and develop the strategic and operational sea logistics business · Participate in budget preparation and constantly monitor individual sea logistics business unit's performance against targets · Set up an efficient cooperation method with carriers for the regular monitoring and controlling of container detention and its timely settlement with carriers and customers · Oversee workload to ensure adequate resources are available to secure that procedures are carried out in line with corporate standards · Present proposals concerning organization flow and cost optimization · Maintain high standards of customer care and securing that the customers are professionally served within all relevant sea logistics branches Your Skills And Experiences · Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a similar discipline · Minimum 15 years' experience in freight forwarding industry, specifically in Sea Logistics · Minimum 3 years' of leadership experience is mandatory · Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills · Fluency in English language is mandatory. Arabic would be considered as an added advantage
