Regional Sales Manager

Job Description : RSM AFRICA Pramac, part of the third biggest diesel generator and first gas generator manufacturer group in the world, is looking for a Regional Sales Manager -Africa for it's subsidiary in Middle East. The Regional Sales Manager, reporting directly to the Director of Sales (APAC &EMEA), will be responsible for identifying market opportunities for Generac products and determining distribution structure and channels in Africa. This role identifies, assesses, attracts and negotiates with potential partners in any segment (e.g., residential, commercial, and industrial). The candidate will manage and expand business with existing customers and coordinate all aspects of our transactions (e.g., sales, legal, credit/payment, logistics, and shipment) with customers. The Regional Sales Manager coordinates all marketing activities with customers as well. KEY DUTIES: · Identifies market opportunities for Generac products. · Determines distribution structure and channels. · Identifies, assesses, attracts and negotiates with potential partners in any segment (e.g., residential, · commercial and industrial). · Manages and expands business with existing customers. · Coordinates all aspects of Generac transactions (e.g., sales, legal, credit/payment, logistics, and shipment) with customers. · Coordinates all marketing activities with customers. · Develops strategic relationships. · Supports new promotional programs. · Administers sales training in-market. · Provides world-class customer support. · Defines product specs and business plan to support new product development proposals. · Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: · Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field required; MBA preferred. · 15+ years of sales and marketing experience. International trade experience. Experience in international logistics and customs requirements. Experience in markets in the region · Working knowledge of OEM/Dealer distribution · Fluency in English, Arabic, French · Effective presentation skills; effective negotiation skills · Willing to travel internationally 75% of the time
