Finance and Accounting Manager

Job Description : FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING MANAGER GHANA 8+ years experience Manages accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable with accuracy and timeliness • Control over Banking transactions / Cash transactions • Monitor cost and ensure adherence to people and administration cost budgets. • Sign off monthly reports and constructively challenge expenditure where necessary. • Ensure that statutory reporting requirements - are met and filed in accordance with accounting policies. • Ensure tax compliance and be accountable for timely and accurate tax filing • Ensure effective controls on receivables and review from time to time. • Ensure accurate timely book closure, statutory audits & filings are completed on time for all legal entities • Ensure timely submission of quarterly data for consolidation with Holding Company. • Ensure monthly operating MIS and information sharing with Holding Company • Ensure effective control over inventory, debtors, balance with Government authorities and other current assets of the Company • Manage a healthy relation with the country Banking partners, optimizing the working capital, ensuring timely recurring remittances to principal on a regular basis • Control over inventory, inventory planning, stock verification and reporting • Custom clearance • Customer Management • SAP B1 operations
