Job Description : RSM SOUTH AFRICA JOB DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Commercial Director for Africa, The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and providing guidance and commercial support to a local sales team within the Southern Africa Region to ensure delivery of sales revenue targets. The RSM is responsible for acquiring new business, increasing brand awareness of TBO Holidays and must be able to leverage opportunities within their market, establish a strong accountability mindset within their team, and maintain key contacts with local Travel Agents and Partners in their region. Responsibilities: Put in place sales activity plans for Southern Africa Region that will generate enough new sales enquiries to enable delivery of targets. New Business acquisition to ensure we have market coverage in the region. Interaction with Consortia Head Offices to position TBO Holidays as a preferred supplier.  Leading communication and developing teams effectively.  Deep dive sales reviews to drive portfolio performance.  Ensure a proper and efficient client segmentation is implemented.  Attending client visits with team and providing coaching on sales competencies.  Interact with key commercial contacts in the region in order to secure agreements and distribution opportunities.  Define next commercial actions and strategy in the region.  Candidate Profile:  Experience of 10+ years managing medium to large and diverse sales teams.  Result driven, passionate about sales and hungry for success.  Performance coaching leadership style.  Strong influencing and negotiation skills.  Excellent communication skills.  Excellent interpersonal skills and strong cultural versatility and empathy.  Strategic vision and analytical clarity.  Passionate about customer satisfaction, with a personal commitment to organizational excellence  A strong leader able to set an example for teams.
