Job Description : NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER DUBAI a leading manufacturer of consumer goods with its heritage from South East Asia. They play in the household, personal care, and food products categories. Blending local consumer knowledge and advanced manufacturing technologies, they are dedicated to its vision of providing quality products at affordable prices. They are seeking a New Business Development Manager to be based in Dubai. The NBD manager will be tasked to execute well defined expansion into new geographies/channels with a focus on Central Asia, Pakistan and Bangladesh as a start. He/she is required to conduct market and channel research, B2B & institutional customer prospecting, value chain margins and channel investment calculations & analyses, business case proposals, pitch customizations, concept selling and win/win closing of online & offline prospect engagements. Responsibilities: Research & prospecting for new markets · Research and identify business opportunities and quantify “size of prize” (incl. competitor, country/channel and category landscapes assessment) · Research and identify potential business partners to work with. · Engage potential biz partners to establish rapport and present WGO. · Propose business case/plan (including shortlisted biz partners (incl. quantifiable win-win-win proposition for WGO, biz partners and cons) Whitespace entry of new markets · Develop and get internal alignment on market/channel entry plans. · Sell and secure agreement from business partners (incl. agreement on T&C, contracts, implementation of WGO GTM/operational standards) · Secure legal, TM and regulatory clearances. · Execute and deliver business and operational deliverables. Operational Excellence · Ensure biz partners operate per WGO GTM/operational standards. · Review business and operational performance, proactively fix issues. · Work with biz partners to penetrate new channels/categories. Customer Relationship Management · Execute business/operational planning and review · Liaise with Supply Chain Teams to ensure robust and efficient replenishment, including forecasting and fulfilment · Liaise with FA to manage AR and trade spending. Build High Performance Organization · Liaise with Global functional resources to build capability of business partners to meet GTM/operational standards · Run PDCA process and drumbeats internally and externally. · Activity support on for potential JV/acquisitions. Requirements: · Degree Qualified from a reputable university · Total of 15 years of BD or Sales experience with a leading FMCG organisation with min 5 years of experience in international business development, preferably with existing network in the assigned whitespace markets · Technical Mastery, knowledge and experience in : - International business management and due diligences. - Strategic negotiations of new market entry models - Sales operations and management · Analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, capability building, effective negotiation and communication · High level of numeracy
