Country Manager

Job Description : COUNTRY MANAGER PHILIPPINES In this business critical role, you will be responsible for running entire business operations in the Philippines. Key Responsibilities: · Commercial: Plan and implement revenue growth strategies. Take full profit and loss, general management responsibility · Lead, develop and drive commercial operations to achieve financial and market share goals for the business. Actively seek new business opportunities · Operation: Support and organise the company's operation to maximise profitably · Identify and address operations problems and opportunities locally on a timely basis to Director, Operations South East Asia · Marketing: Prepare and implement comprehensive Marketing Plans, including time-to-time analysis of competition, risk and opportunities · Ensure marketing strategy is in line with global/regional direction, standards, ROI and effectively serving business goals with consistency · Financial: Ensure adequate financial records and internal control to provide timely and accurate financials statements · Prepare all budgets and financial projections. Promptly address financial issues. Monitor and ensure working capital (Receivables and Inventory) within goals · Planning and leadership: To support SEA management team in formulating and executing the local brand strategy – mid- to long-term by ensuring priorities are set and resource allocated accordingly · Provide leadership with clear communication of mission, vision, brand values and ensure a professional relationship with team and clients. Support recruitment and HR matters within country To succeed in this Country Manager role, you must be a proactive self-starter with proven sales and management experience. Marketing capital equipment and direct experience in the retail industry is a strong advantage. Key Requirements: · University degree in business or equivalent · Advanced understanding of Supply Chain, Finance and Marketing Functional · At least 10 years in Sales/Retail Industry: Sport, FMCG, Consulting Leadership: At least six years in matrix organisation This company is one of the leading sports retail companies in the world and is keen to grow aggressively in the Philippines.
