Heavy Equipment Supervisor

Job Description : HEAVY EQUIPMENT SUPERVISOR TANZANIA 6-8 years experience To provide efficient after sales service to Heavy construction & Mining Equipment's GENERIC DUTIES: § Inspects, diagnoses, and locates mechanical difficulties in heavy equipment in a variety of diesel powered maintenance and heavy construction equipment reviews repairs and servicing work upon completion. § Overhauls, repairs and adjusts engines, transmissions, differentials, clutches and heavy construction equipment hydraulic systems. § Troubleshoots malfunctions in the heavy equipment's and repair. Diagnoses problems, disassembles units, repairs or replaces parts, and reassembles units § Performs routine maintenances checks and adjustments on such things as fluid levels, hoses, belts, belts, brakes, tires and clutches; changes filters and oil, and lubricates vehicles and motor driven equipment's § Repairs and services track drive sprockets, rails, idler, wheels, hard bars, track adjusters, hydraulic reversers, final drives, brake bands, steering clutches and hydrostatic transmissions § Maintains service logs and records of maintenance on heavy equipment, using fleet maintenance and management software § Estimates needs and requests supplies, materials, tools and equipment. Keeps tools, equipment, and work area clean, organized and in good working condition § Prepares work orders and cost materials estimates. § Prepare list of parts to be stocked to support customer fleet § To assist in training lower-level workers in mechanical repair techniques Academic level needed: Bachelor degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering Qualities: Experience in heavy construction & mining equipment such as Excavator, Wheel Loader, Motor Grader, Dozers, Compactor. Prior experience with reputed dealer of Caterpillar, Komatsu, JCB, XCMG, Liugong, Sany etc is preferable. Proficient in Computer.
