Job Description : GLOBAL DIRECTOR UAE FOR SEA FREIGHT The purpose of this position to grow the sea freight product, to manage the relation with the shipping line and work on our incentive scheme with them, to improve our solution offering and to grow our chartering portfolio. Job Responsibilities · Focus on the product Growth & Development · Provide continuous support to Stations to resolve any operational or pricing issues. · Visit customers when requested by stations to support them acquire new businesses · Establish and maintain relationships with shipping line to secure most financially suitable options for the Company · Build global accounts with major shipping lines · Assist the procurement Manager in the Sea Tender solution design · Handle all operational matters with shipping line to improve business performance and to ensure better customer care during transportation for the Company customers · Follow shipping line performance metrics closely to ensure the Company hits the pre-determined targets in the incentive agreements to become eligible for specific discounts for better price offerings and better financial results · Coordinate with Regional Freight Operation Managers for best product operation practices · Support Regional Freight Operation Managers with local relations with shipping lines · Building our consolidation program and network · Responsible of drafting the Trainings Curriculum · Arrange best charter solutions for the Company Job Requirements · Bachelor's Degree in any related field · A minimum of 15 years of Sea Freight experience · Strong knowledge of the Industry, Product and the Market · Excellent relationship management skills · Excellent communication and negotiation skills · Good commands in professional emails writing · Excellent time-management and detail-orientation skills · Incoterms Knowledge is strongly recommended · Shipping line experience is an advantage
