Job Description : Head Procurement, Stores & Commercials - Distillery - North India Descriptions: • Responsible for the Grains Procurement & Stores & Commercial function for the Distillery Plant in North India. • Procurement of Grain & ensure Supply as required for the Smooth Operations of the Distillery. • Establishes & Maintains Relationships with Area Producers, Marketing Groups & effectively Communicates local Market intelligence. • Determines Appropriate Contracts for the Procurement. • Manages Grain Purchase Position as well as logistics with Suppliers & Plant inventory levels to Meet Plant Demand & in Accordance with inventory. • Enters Purchase Contracts into Accounting System & Maintains & Manages Grain Records / Documentation in Compliance with Applicable Policies & Procedures. • Coordinates with Accounts Department as required to ensure Accuracy & Timeliness of Payments to the Suppliers. • Coordinate the Manufacturing Plant Team to Ensure Efficient Receiving Process, Manage Grain Quality with a focus on a High level of Customer service. • Responsible for the Entire Stores, Inventory & Purchase Operations. • Material/Inventory Control & Stores Management. • Stocking of Inventory & Ensuring Stock Accuracy. • Ensuring Timely Processing & Deliveries of Stocks. • Controlling of Engineering & Packaging Procurement/Inventory. • Responsible for Inwards Material for Logistics Management. • Liaisoning & Negotiating with Customers & suppliers. • Timely MIS to Management. • Coordination for Audit/Inspection, Allocating & Managing Staff Resources. • In Depth Knowledge of Grain and Rice husk Procurement. • Knowledge of SAP Module is Essential. • Allocating & Managing Staff Resources. Qualifications & Exp.: • Chemical/Mechanical Engr/ MBA Supply Chain Management with about 15-20 years of Exp in Procurement of Grain / Commercial Function of a Reputed Distillery.
