Job Description : COMMERCIAL MANAGER MENA FOR COCOA Commercial Cocoa Manager Middle East & North Africa (MENA), based in Cairo, Egypt Our position, Commercial Cocoa Manager MENA, is accountable for all cocoa product volume & cocoa powder premiums in the MENA region. Developing sales volume and increases premium with the de?ned local, regional and international customer base. The incumbent is the main point of contact of Cocoa Business within BC for all customers in MENA region and takes full responsibility for the cocoa business & cocoa distributors in a professional manner. Indirectly manages the BC sales force (FM & GM) for the sale of cocoa products within the region. Proactively supports the sales organization for additional opportunities outside the existing customer base. Acts as the MENA ‘customers’ voice within BC Cocoa EEMEA to ensure customer satisfaction and continuity of business relationship. Description Of Tasks · Developing a strategic plan for the region and being accountable for the execution of it in order to increase volume & premium. · Developing a strong network of contacts within BC - Customer Care, Marketing, Sourcing, Finance and Supply Chain - in order to support day to day business in the region and pro-actively supports the sales team, distributors & customers · Being able to translate Cocoa Bean & Product markets in a simple way to explain the sales team and customers about trends to support purchasing strategies of the customers · Understanding customer market, capability & position in order to create a business development plan per customer to drive growth · Indirect management of Sales teams in order to be successful in their job of selling cocoa products · Developing positive working relationships with key stakeholders on customers side including, buying, technical, NPD and supply chain departments and recognize key decision makers · Building strong relationship with Chocolate counterpart within region. Your Profile · Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or commerce related ?eld · 10+ years in commercial working experience · 2+ years in Cocoa trading/product experience · Fluent in English both written and oral · Speaking French is preferred due to the region’s customer base · Regular travel within region and to BC locations (Louviers, Hamburg, Zurich) required (on average 60% of work time) · Basic understand of Terminal Commodity Markets (preferably Cocoa beans) · Understanding of cocoa powder and technical aspects · Commercial drive to make the deal in the interest of BC & customer · Relationship builder & team player
