Supply Chain and Operations Head

Job Description : HEAD SUPPLY CHAIN AND OPERATIONS BANGLADESH 15+ years experience Manage overall operations in Plant, Purchase and Distribution functions Budgeting · Strategic planning for overall Plant operations, Production, Purchase and Distribution. · Annual planning in terms of capacity, production output, cost, service levels and working capital · Deriving monthly plans ensuring adherence with regular reviews. Cost · Manage all parameters related to cost, quality and service with respect to plant operations, Purchase of Raw materials, Packing materials and distribution of finish goods. · Management of provisions by managing slow/non-moving stocks of raw materials, Packing materials and finish goods. Plant Operations · Capacity and production planning to ensure supplies of Finish goods as per sales demand. · Manpower management with required efficiencies and production output. · Process control and control of operational efficiencies with assurance of quality at plant. · Adherence to overall statutory requirements at plant and depots. · Management of Quality system including ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications. · People management and managing industrial relations at plant. · Managing operations of OPC (Outside Processing Centre) of the company. Purchase and Sourcing: · Planning and management of Purchase of Raw materials and packing materials. · Overall responsibility of Purchase orders, receipt of materials, customs clearance and delivery of materials to plant. · Assessment of risks involved in purchase and its mitigation. · Sourcing savings- planning targets and ensuring achievement. · Overall inventory management for Raw materials and packing materials. · Exploring sourcing of cost-effective raw materials through interaction with central support from APL, other units and various key vendors. · Overall responsibility of negotiations with vendors across company. · Manage the freight of all raw materials handled by the company including negotiations, benchmarking in the industry, servicing to various categories of buyers Distribution · Overall planning and management of distribution of Finish goods across eleven depots of the company. · Distribution of FG from depot to customers as per agreed SLA with sales. · Planning and controlling primary as well as secondary distribution cost by exploring cost reduction opportunities. · Overall inventory management of Finish goods across company including depots. · Managing depot operations with respect to cost center. People management · Responsible for overall head count at plant, purchase and distribution functions including depots. · Labour management at plant and depot · Managing industrial relations of all stake holders including external parties. · Developing people capabilities across Operations, Purchase and Distribution functions. · Collaborate with Unit Head to develop goals for the team. Create development plans for subordinates Conduct reviews with team on an ongoing basis for various performance parameters Desired Candidate Profile Candidate will be managing 2 plants and 7 depots we will require a very strong and experienced candidate who has managed large operations in past/in current role.
