Chief Financial Officer 
15 yearsJob Description : CFO UAE The primary purpose of this role is to lead and direct the financial responsibilities of the group and its operating companies. The CFO has the responsibility for managing financial sustainability, driving financial performance & maximizing return on investment. The role will provide strategic financial advice to the Board of Directors and will play a pivotal role in formulating future financial strategies. Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Financial Control: Responsibility to ensure that appropriate systems and processes are in place across the respective businesses of the group. This includes but is not limited to: Group Reporting, Treasury & Cash Management, Debt Facilities, Risk Management and Audits, Tax Compliance, Insurance, Contract Management and Terms of Trade & Accounting Projects & Analysis. • Corporate Finance: including foreign exchange management and optimizing the balance sheet structure. • Financial Strategy: including budgeting, forecasting, contributing to overall strategy and investment prioritization. • Risk Management: Organizational risk framework (strategic and financial). • Information Technology: Recommending systems, project management of IT projects, and system upgrades or deployment. • Financial Strategic Direction and Leadership. • Manage tracking of cash flow and financial planning as well as analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions. • Managing the finance and accounting divisions and for ensuring that the company’s financial reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner. • Create accounting strategies to maximize profits. • Management of payrolls and weekly job reports cash • Regularly examine financial statements and ensure they are accurate and free of any errors. • Organize and update financial records; monitor all bookkeeping. • Analyze accounts and suggest improvements to reduce costs and increase profits. • Keep company accounts information confidential. Job Description 23 May 2021 • Stay abreast of industry changes and current tax/accounting laws. • Act as a liaison to outside auditors. • Represent the department at board meetings. • Recruit, manage, and oversee all accounting department members, work with other accounting managers management and maintenance of bank account balances. • Maintain a good professional relationship between the group and various bank sectors. • Make sure all financial data adheres to current tax laws and regulations. Qualifications and Requirements • BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA highly desirable. • 15+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably within Hospitality, Motors, Real Estate Development, Property Management, and/ or Education industry. Personal Attributes • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential. • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses. • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. Other Skills & Abilities • Computer Literacy is essential (Windows environment) and strong working knowledge of Financial software and MS Office proficiency specifically Excel is preferred. • Proven experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role • In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP) • Ability to strategize and solve problems • Strong leadership and organizational skills • Excellent communication and people skills.
