Job Description : A multi-million-dollar grocery supermarket chain is recruiting for the following roles: CENTRAL PURCHASING OFFICER The CPO is responsible for choosing suppliers and negotiating terms & conditions for all parts of the supermarket assortment. He/She would be responsible for 5 – 7 Category Managers. He/She must be open to a completely new way of doing retail. Requirements: 8 – 10 years in a purchasing/supply chain role with senior level experience in a retail chain. Good knowledge about the supplier landscape of Nigeria and good knowledge about regulations and food laws and procedures in the country of Nigeria are welcome. The position is also ideal for candidates who have been successfully working as Sales Managers or in other responsible positions in the manufacturing and food processing industry.
