Chief Operating Officer

Job Description : COO THAILAND FOR RETAIL Reporting directly to the global CEO, this is a role for a highly experienced operational expert who is a leader in their field. About the Chief Operations Officer Role - Retail sector: In this business critical role you will be responsible for defining the broad operational business strategy, delivering the highest quality service alongside 2 other C level executives in Thailand. You will take the lead providing direction to all supply chain activities, including logistics, warehouse, inventory. The scope of this role will also incorporate IT, call centre/customer service and an admin team. The position can provide a competitive base salary, benefit and allowance package. Key Responsibilities: · Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organisational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs · Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organisation-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning · Oversee the optimisation of a large warehouse operation, improve delivery issues and implement a robust transport and logistics policy as a priority for profitability success · Directly oversee operations, IT and customer service & call centre functions To succeed in the Chief Operations Officer job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior stakeholders for the business, across borders and an internal matrix. You will need to be a proven leader of multiple teams, large warehouse and supply chain divisions as well as P&L management. Key Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field · 10+ years experience in executive operational & supply chain leadership positions · Preferably from within the consumer/retail industry segment · Expert in ERP system management · Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity · Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues · A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics ·
