Head of Buying

Job Description : Head of Buying, Dubai, UAE (E-commerce & Fashion Retail):- One of the regions leading & longest established retail brands who are further extending their reach in to the E-commerce market are looking for a Head of Buying to assist their business to its next stage of excellence. Applicants will have 10 to 15 years experience in a similar function, built/bought multiple categories over the career preferably across Men's, Women's & Children, posses a strong commercial acumen, market understanding and demonstrated the ability to trade quickly. They should also have worked in in multi branded / labelled environment, or situations where you work with a large range, supplier base and requires strong fashion curation. Some experience in fast fashion buying model and understand how to manage / run the buying process in such environment would also be advantageous. Preferably worked with digitally native brands or some ecommerce experience, Shown leadership in buying practices, and capacity to train and mentor where required and led cross cultural buying teams before.
