Project Manager

Job Description : CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER WEST INDIES Visa will be sponsored Roles and Responsibilities: · Oversee, manage and direct construction projects from begging to end · Review and monitor the project in-depth · Ensure schedule of all the deliverables · Track inventory regularly · Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status · Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones · Monitor and guide compliance with building and safety regulations · Train and give feedback to construction workers and subcontractors · Ensure tools, materials and equipment · Manage and mitigate risks · Always ensure quality construction standards · Tendering, Budget planning and cost estimating · Knowledge of FIDIC conditions of contract · Knowledge of tendering procedures for NHAI, World Bank, ADB. · Excellent writing skills in contractual matters · Hands on experience of MS office, MS projects, Autocad Desired Candidate Profile: · 15 to 20 years of experience is Civil Engineering industry · Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and PG in construction management · PMP or an equivalent certification would be considered an asset · Proven working experience in construction management · In western culture its very important that person has knowledge and skill of doing it rather than just seeing it being done. · Good knowledge of construction management processes · Experience with construction management software packages ( MS projects, Autocad ) · Outstanding knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards · Competent in conflict and crisis management · Good time-management skills · Ability to multi-task · Strong interpersonal and communication skills · Critical-thinker and problem-solver · Extensive previous work experience managing budgets for construction projects · Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment · Highly organized · Previous experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skills · Previous work experience in construction management or another similar role · Understanding of construction management processes · Able to plan ahead · Familiar with construction and project management software programs
