Job Description : CFO QUEENSLAND AUSTRALIA Win Group is a coordinated group of companies on the Fraser Coast including construction, real estate and property development. We handle all aspects of the property cycle from acquisition, project management and construction through to sales, leasing and project marketing. We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced Chief Financial Controller to join our team. This is a key role, reporting directly to the Managing Director and working across multiple entities and projects. The Role This fast paced and rewarding role includes, but is not limited to: · Managing accounting functions for multiple entities with speed and accuracy; · Setup and maintenance of all electronic accounting files using Reckon; · Management of Finance Officer and overseeing finance functions of admin staff in each entity; · Oversee the full finance function including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Reconciliations and Reporting; · Preparation of budgets and cashflow forecasts and monitoring of budget versus actual performance including KPI's and ratios; · Preparation of monthly financial reports for all entities; · Full financial reporting for quarterly Board Meetings; · Liaison with external financial advisors including tax accountants and auditors; · Maintenance of the General Ledger for multiple entities, including preparation of all end of financial year entries; · Liaison with financial institutions for project funding; · Preparation of statutory returns including BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax and WorkCover; · Preparation of other ad hoc reports as required; · HR administration including employment contracts, payroll, PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, workcover and liaising with Fair Work for any employment related issues; · Ensuring Managing Director is made aware of any potential financial issues or risks in a timely manner; · Other financial and administrative tasks as required. To be successful in this role, you will have: · Tertiary qualifications in Accounting; · CPA or CA qualified a benefit but not required; · A minimum of 15 years' experience in a similar role; · Experience managing a finance team across multiple entities; · Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels; · Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); · Excellent organisation and time management skills; · The ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines; · Precision and attention to detail that ensures a high level of accuracy and reliability; · Honesty, integrity and a strong work ethic; · The ability to maintain confidentiality at all levels; · Personal characteristics including a strong work ethic, high levels of punctuality, attire and grooming and the ability to represent the company in a professional, competent manner; · Preparedness to live and work in the Hervey Bay Region; · Experience in the Construction Industry will be highly regarded; · Experience with Reckon would be highly beneficial.
