General Manager

Job Description : GM, FACILITIES & ASSET SERVICES Location : KL MALAYSIA JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Establish policies and procedures to ensure all activities in the division and quality policies and are continuously improved for efficiency, productivity and cost. Strategize and develop plans for capital expenditure (CAPEX) for common assets to replace deteriorating assets and purchase of additional assets to optimise costs of maintenance and to ensure continual support to Business Units’ Develop contracting strategy to engage outsourcing solution for provision of equipment and services to achieve costs benefit. Manage an effective and efficient internal customer relations management for the provision of facilities, utilities, administrative services and technical expertise Oversee the process to ensure compliance to government bodies and local authority requirement for business license's, permits, taxes and certifications as custodian of lands, buildings, common assets, facilities and utilities. REQUIREMENTS Degree in Engineering / Marine or equivalent. Professional qualifications or advanced degree would be an added advantage. Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in senior management position in heavy engineering industry and yard management.
