Commercial Director

Job Description : COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR ASIA a global manufacturer and distributor of small components across industries and applications. The Commercial Director, Asia will be responsible for defining, developing and delivering the commercial operational strategy to ensure top line growth across 6 markets. Your primarily responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Develop and execute an agreed commercial strategy in each country · Be accountable for the P&L of each business and deliver on-target financial performance in a range of metrics including revenue, OP and OCF · Continuously drive and improve commercial effectiveness within each country · Develop and lead positive long-term relationships with key customers and industry influencers · Partnering together with global category management teams to identify and close new business opportunities within each market · Working with regional supply chain and operations teams to ensure service targets are achieved · Create a high performing team by recruiting, coaching, training and developing employees · MSc or BSc in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred) with a minimum of 10 years in multi-site manufacturing / distributor sector · Results and service orientated commercial leader with a track record of delivering strong organic revenue growth · Exceptional selling and influencing skills with an ability to understand and identify customer needs · Experience in driving growth through multiple go to market channels- direct, distribution, telesales, e-commerce · Able to demonstrate general commercial and financial acumen with experience in managing the P&L · International experience with the ability to operate effectively in a multi-cultural environment across multiple geographies, ideally within Asia Pacific · This role will be based in Singapore, and you should be willing to travel
